Meet the Team

Kathryn Ellis (BSc, CTLLS, BTEC, ITEC) has been teaching massage courses for over ten years and is a very experienced and successful massage practitioner, having qualified at the highest level in Thai massage, Sports & Remedial massage and Myofascial Release.

She set up the Central School of Massage in 2009 and has trained many hundreds of therapists, ranging in ability and experience from absolute beginners through to therapists with 20+ years' experience.

Kathryn was an official speaker at the 2019 Holistic Health Fair, and runs CPD (continuing professional development) massage courses for the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).

Karen is an advanced massage practitioner, having run her own successful massage business for 10 years. She qualified in Swedish and Sports massage in 2010 and has since added many different disciplines of massage to her offering, including Pregnancy and Thai Yoga Massage.

Karen is a qualified adult-learning teacher and has been teaching massage since early 2018 when she joined Central School of Massage to set up and help run our Swedish massage course for complete beginners.
