Level 3 Certificate in Swedish Massage

A wonderful massage in its own right, Swedish (Holistic) Massage is regarded as the basic massage training course from which to build your other massage techniques. It’s the most commonly used qualification type for body massage that provides an excellent platform for further learning.

Our course focuses on establishing great techniques from the start. We emphasise good posture and body mechanics to ensure that you learn how to use your body with the minimum of effort and maximum of ease. We want to make sure our students are equipped with the best skills to guarantee a long-lasting career.

A non-refundable deposit of £250 is required at the time of booking. The balance of fees (£645) is due by 7 days before the start of the course.

Who is it for?

This course is for complete beginners who are looking to qualify as a professional massage therapist with a recognised course.

Course requirements

None. No previous massage experience is necessary to attend.

Course objectives

On successful completion of the course, you will be able to carry out a full body massage in a safe and effective manner, using professional techniques, and will be able to charge accordingly.

Course structure

  • Six days of on-site, practical massage training
  • Day 7 is an assessment day (includes a final observed massage plus a short written exam)
  • On-line Anatomy & Physiology course
  • 22 hours of case-studies (practice massage sessions)
  • Written homework

This FHT accredited course is a universally recognised qualification that allows you to get full insurance to practise as a professional massage therapist within a spa or clinic, or as a self-employed practitioner. It also qualifies you to train further in advanced massage techniques.
